Regional Climate Anomalies and Trends in the Background of Global Change, Natural and Anthropogenic Causes, Predictability, and Consequences

Regional climate anomalies and trends are analyzed, in particular in Russian regions, against the background of global changes with an assessment of causes, predictability, and consequences. Features of modern global and regional climate anomalies and trends based on observational data (including satellite data) and reanalysis are compared with paleoclimatic reconstructions. The role of natural and anthropogenic factors in different regions is characterized. The trends of possible future global and regional climate changes and their consequences are assessed using model calculations.
