Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change: Results, Problems, and Prospects
摘要
In the Sixth Assessment Cycle (2015–2023), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) prepared and released a main assessment report in three volumes, three special reports, one methodological report, and a summary Synthesis Report. These publications summarized the data available in the scientific literature and global monitoring and modeling databases and formulated conclusions and findings that are important for the further development of climate policy at international and national levels. Russian scientists actively participated in the work of the IPCC as authors and review editors. The Sixth Evaluation Cycle also revealed certain methodological problems that had accumulated over more than 30 years of work by this international scientific nonpolitical organization.
