  • Dario Fazzi

摘要

This essay focuses on the origins and early developments of the University of Maryland’s College of Special and Continuation Studies (CSCS), an academic program that offered US-style education to the American troops stationed abroad. The essay interprets the CSCS as one of the tools of American cultural transmission in Western Europe, highlighting the many opportunities of cultural cross-fertilization that it offered.
