摘要

As an important embodiment of Chinese traditional culture, traditional bamboo furniture carries profound ecological aesthetic concepts and unique craftsmanship wisdom. However, it faces challenges such as outdated design and backward production methods in the process of modernization. This study investigates the protection, inheritance, innovation, and adaptation of traditional bamboo furniture, proposing comprehensive strategies for the revitalization and sustainable development of this cultural heritage. By integrating pedagogical practice with design application, the study constructs a four-dimensional framework of “protection–inheritance–innovation–derivation,” establishing a systematic linkage between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design methodologies. Additionally, it examines multi-level pathways for cultural dissemination and sharing, spanning individual, group, and societal scales. The findings provide both theoretical insights and practical guidance for advancing the preservation, innovation, and sustainable development of traditional bamboo furniture.
