The results indicate that the associations among boredom, meaningful life, and relationship satisfaction were significant for both genders. It was found that the boredom experienced by each partner was indirectly related to their own relationship satisfaction through the other partner’s meaningful life in the marriage, highlighting partner effects. Specifically, women’s boredom was indirectly associated with their relationship satisfaction via men’s meaningful life.
