摘要

Environmental sustainability is a global challenge due to pollution, urbanization, and the need for efficient technology solutions. The study examines how sustainable infrastructure, engineering, and solid waste management affect environmental outcomes in China. The model is estimated using quarterly data from 1996Q1 to 2022Q4 using Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) to address endogeneity. Further, the study uses Robust Least Squares (RLS) regression to ensure research consistency and robustness. The findings show that public-private partnerships reduce Particulate Matter 2.5 concentration by building energy infrastructure and producing renewable power. Waste-to-energy solutions are complicated since combustible renewables and waste enhance PM2.5 levels. The benefits of integrated urban planning include lower PM2.5 levels and sustainable urban population growth. The study advises strengthening public-private cooperation and employing new waste management technologies to reduce environmental impact and support sustainable development.
