When the Person is Indeed Political: Who is Cleaning our Feminist Dishes?
摘要
This article will add a voice in interrogating the paradox of invisibilization of labour within our feminist movements. The metaphor of ‘dishes’ is to define unacknowledged labour in our movement, that invisible work that enables us to function and keep us fighting. The interrogation will emphasize that our liberation should not only be what we get to demand in the streets and in the air-conditioned rooms of power but how we live together, feed each other, cry with each other, and love each other while we resist. This article will propose ways that can be used in order for us to prevent our feminist politics from reproducing extractive hierarchies.
