<p>This article examines the seemingly improbable dialogue between Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalytical theory and <i>Anti-Oedipus</i>, authored by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Initially considered irreconcilable due to Lacan’s emphasis on lack and Deleuze’s celebration of positivity, their potential convergence is explored. The main hypothesis is that despite conceptual disparities, Lacan’s later work, particularly his notion of the real unconscious, as well as concepts of <i>lalangue</i> and <i>sinthome</i>, represent a kind of response to the critics exposed in <i>Anti-Oedipus</i>.</p>
