Sexuality Beyond Consent: Risk, Race, Traumatophilia
摘要
Reading “Sexuality Beyond Consent” is not only a pleasure. The book implicates the reader and evokes the very core of the sexual and psychoanalysis as few other experiences do. It is also rich critique of and an important intervention to a popular contemporary narrative around sexuality, trauma and the concept of affirmative consent. Avgi Saketopoulou masterfully makes a case against the imperative of mastery that runs through our society and us, its subjects.
