<p>Following an introduction to the specifically Afro-Islamic science of <i>geomancy</i>, this interview pairs a professional geomancer and Europeanist with an amateur geomancer and Islamicist to explore the ways in which this science—the OG Artificial Intelligence and parent of modern computing—continues to be not just a wonderfully useful and sustainable technology in its own right, but indispensable for thinking about the ethics of technology during our ecocidal and epistemicidal moment.
