<p>Undocumented young people have been at the center of the immigrant rights movement since the turn of the century. However, their activism is part of a long and complex history of immigrant rights organizing. This article explores how undocumented young people are rearticulating the political imagination around immigrant rights and immigrant freedom and dignity in the United States. I analyze the edited collection <i>Eclipse of Dreams</i> to reflect on the ways that literary mediations written by undocumented or formerly undocumented young people and their allies open new avenues of thought to theorize the immigrant rights movement. I read <i>Eclipse of Dreams</i> as a collaborative project that adds to the multiplicity of perspectives engaging in a sustained reassessment of how undocumented migration and undocumented immigrants are imagined in the US public sphere. The article suggests that undocumented young activists challenge anti-immigrant discourses while also theorizing the immigrant rights movement as part of the struggle for social and racial justice in the United States.</p>
