Variable gravity combustion: new frontiers in flame studies
摘要
This communication aims to present novel aspects of intrinsic combustion mechanism under varying gravitational conditions. The investigation of variable gravity could benefit the improvement of the combustion efficiency and aerospace safety, explore the simulation techniques to better predict the flame behavior, and promote the practical application of combustion under different gravity environments. In particular, future studies may advance theoretical understanding of flame instability, ignition and extinction limits, and soot formation, while developing high-fidelity numerical models and intelligent diagnostic approaches for real-time prediction. This study will present a brief review of the development actuality and research necessity in variable gravity combustion, establishing the framework for future inquiry in this domain.
