<p>Advanced liver disease often features both covert hepatic encephalopathy (CHE) and frailty. In 194 patients, CHE diagnosed via QuickStroop (QSt) was associated with higher Liver Frailty Index (LFI). QSt and LFI showed a weak correlation (rho = 0.311), while the full Stroop test revealed a stronger correlation (rho = 0.455). These findings suggest that LFI may indirectly reflect psychomotor slowing and fatigability, which are better captured through full Stroop testing.</p>
