Research on the impact of green dynamic capability and corporate green transformation–based on the moderating role of ESG management
摘要
This study theoretically examines the relationship between green dynamic capabilities and corporate green transformation, investigates the moderating role of ESG management in this relationship, and conducts empirical research using 276 valid questionnaires distributed to high-energy-consuming enterprises in China’s Yangtze River Delta region. The results indicate: (1) Green dynamic capabilities and their dimensions are positively correlated with corporate green transformation. (2) ESG management plays a positive moderating role between green dynamic capabilities and corporate green transformation. (3) Corporate green transformation can achieve strategic shifts by actively building internal dynamic capabilities and integrating them with ESG management. (4) The moderating effect of ESG management is selective and does not apply uniformly across all dimensions of green dynamic capabilities. In a full-model analysis that simultaneously incorporates all three dimensions and controls for their interactive effects, ESG management maintained a robust positive moderating effect only on the relationship between green resource integration capability and green transformation, while its direct moderating effects on the relationship between green environmental adaptability and organizational green learning capability were no longer significant. This suggests that resource integration capability serves as the primary conduit for the catalytic function of ESG. This study deepens the understanding of the influence mechanism of green dynamic capabilities on corporate green transformation, providing empirical evidence for advancing corporate green transformation.
