Numerical simulation of deformation and hole position shift in extrusion process of four-hole propellant
摘要
Four-hole propellant were prepared by solvent extrusion. The polyflow module of ANSYS software was used to simulate the hole position deviation and shape change in the extrusion process of four-hole propellants. The extrusion quality of four-hole propellants was simulated and optimized. The results show that the deformation and the hole position deviation of the simulated four-hole propellants after extrusion are basically consistent with those obtained by the experiment, and the flow rate of the propellant decreases gradually from the center to the wall or the surface of the pins during extrusion. Properly reducing the volume flow rate of the inlet is beneficial to reduce the deformation and hole offset of the propellants. The simulation results show that the designed mold can greatly reduce the bad deformation in the extrusion process of four-hole propellant.
