摘要

The assessment of the corporate environmental conduct in the context of social responsibility is a complex decision-making (DM) problem because of the contradictory evaluation criteria, qualitative judgments, and enormous uncertainties in the professional evaluation. The current methods of assessment do not capture expert hesitation well as well as fail to give balanced and transparent ranking of corporate environmental performance. To overcome these drawbacks, this paper will propose a problem-focused hybrid DM framework by combining the Pythagorean Fuzzy (PF) Analytic hierarchy Process (AHP) with Multi-Attribute Ideal-Real Comparative Analysis (MAIRCA) system. The expressive weaknesses of classical and intuitionistic fuzzy environments will be overcome by using pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFS). PF-AHP method is applied to obtain credible and uniform weights of social responsibility-based environmental criteria, and the MAIRCA methodology provides an objective and balanced ranking of corporate options by comparing ideal and real performances profile. Hypothetical case study is performed on six corporations with six evaluation criteria to demonstrate the relevance and usefulness of the proposed framework to decision support. The findings demonstrate that the proposed model of PF-AHP-MAIRCA has a higher level of discriminative power, transparency, and realistic decision support than any of the currently applicable fuzzy MCDM methods. The framework can provide useful information to corporate managers and policymakers who want to understand and compare corporate environmental behavior and improve it in accordance with the goals of social responsibility and sustainable development.
