Investigation and research on germplasm resources of Lonicera oblata in China
摘要
To understand the survival status of Lonicera oblata, a nationally second-class protected wild plant, a preliminary investigation was conducted on its wild populations in Shanxi Province. The results showed that: (1) a total of 299 individuals were found in the survey area, with no seedlings from the current year observed; (2) the suitable elevation range for distribution was between 1400 and 1650 m, with companion plants primarily of the Asteraceae, Ranunculaceae, and Rosaceae; (3) the pollen of Lonicera oblata was spherical, medium-sized, with tricolporate germination apertures, and the exine surface featured spiny projections and a perforate tectum. The current population size is low, necessitating continued conservation efforts. This study provides a scientific basis for the effective protection and utilization of Lonicera oblata.
