<p>To explore the intervention effect of feedforward control combined with personalized nursing on cancer pain, respiratory function and psychological state in advanced lung cancer patients. Data of 134 patients with stage III-IV lung cancer from December 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Following the nursing plan, they were divided into experimental group (feedforward control combined with personalized nursing) and reference group (feedforward control nursing) (<i>n</i> = 67). The pain score (NRS), respiratory function index (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC), mental state (SDS, SAS), cancer-related fatigue score, quality of life and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group (97.04%) was higher than that of the reference group (83.58%) (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.05). After the intervention, the pain score, SDS, SAS and cancer-related fatigue scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the reference group (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.001), while the respiratory function indexes (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC) and quality of life scores were higher than those of the reference group (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.001). Thus, feedforward control combined with personalized nursing effectively relieved cancer pain in patients with advanced lung cancer, improve respiratory function and psychological state and enhance nursing quality and satisfaction, which had clinical promotion value.</p>
