摘要

Aphis spiraecola is a globally distributed and highly polyphagous agricultural pest that causes serious damage to fruit trees and ornamental plants. However, full-length transcriptomic resources for this species remain limited. Here, we used single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing to generate the first full-length transcriptome resource for A. spiraecola. A total of 532,980 CCSs were obtained, including 405,834 FLNC reads. Through clustering and redundancy removal, 100,910 non-redundant transcript sequences were retained, of which 74,460 were successfully annotated in public databases, including Nr, GO, KEGG, COG, Pfam, Swiss-Prot, eggNOG, and KOG. To further refine the transcriptomic characterization, comparative BLAST analyses were performed against the databases of five closely related aphid species. In addition, we identified 320,966 simple sequence repeat (SSR) motifs, 33,119 lncRNAs, and 62,684 transcript isoforms containing complete coding sequences (CDSs). This full-length transcriptome dataset provides a valuable resource for future studies on the molecular biology, environmental adaptation, comparative genomics and efficient control of A. spiraecola.
