摘要

We introduce CV19global, a 3-million datapoint compilation of the COVID-19 pandemic tracking transmission patterns and response measures in 54 countries for the years 2020 and 2021. The harmonized dataset covers reports on epidemiological trends, environmental factors, socio-economic indices, vaccination efforts and government policies compiled from several primary data sources. CV19global maintains precision and high coverage across selected parameters, with a focus on seasonal elements, facilitating the discovery of insights into the pandemic and the effectiveness of interventions on a global scale. We describe the properties of 82 indicators and outline potential applications. CV19global is a data framework for COVID-19 that offers researchers and policymakers an additional capacity to benchmark responses, refine strategies and re-analyze pandemic patterns, enabling evidence-based decisions and improved public health outcomes.
