<p>A new aurodox-family compound named 2-methyl-10-hydroxy-A83016F (<b>1</b>) and the known aurodox (<b>2</b>) were isolated from the <i>Streptomyces</i> sp. HKIB0009; their structures were determined through comprehensive analysis of NMR and HRMS data. The antibacterial activities of these compounds against <i>Escherichia coli</i>, <i>Bacillus subtilis</i>, and <i>Staphylococcus aureu</i>s were evaluated using the broth microdilution method. The results showed that compound <b>1</b> exhibited weak antibacterial activity.</p>

A new aurodox-family compound named 2-methyl-10-hydroxy-A83016F (1) and the known aurodox (2) were isolated from the Streptomyces sp.
