Research on the mechanism of Tremella hydrocolloids mediating anti-aging of Caenorhabditis elegans
摘要
Tremella hydrocolloid has various pharmacological activities, but its mechanism of anti-aging is unclear. This article aims to explore the mechanism of Tremella hydrocolloid in mediating the extension of lifespan in Caenorhabditis elegans. The results showed that Tremella hydrocolloid significantly extended the lifespan of C. elegans by reducing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species. Through fluorescence quantitative PCR experiments, it was found that the addition of Tremella hydrocolloid up-regulated the expression level of skn-1 in C. elegans, indicating that the anti-aging effect of Tremella hydrocolloid was regulated through the insulin/insulin-like growth factor signal (IIS) pathway. These results provide a theoretical basis for the application of Tremella hydrocolloids in anti-aging food, medicine and cosmetics.
