Objectives and Background <p>Detection of <i>ligamentum lunotriquetrum interosseum</i> damage, unless it is a part of complex wrist injury, is difficult during routine examination, therefore chronic instabilities are often diagnosed arthroscopically. There is no surgical procedure of choice for the treatment of chronic conditions.</p> Method <p>The authors present fifteen-year results involving 17 patients treated with their own original method using a distally pedicled graft from the <i>musculus extensor carpi ulnaris</i> tendon pulled through a channel created in the <i>os triquetrum</i> and fixed with a Mitek’s anchor into a groove in the <i>os lunatum</i>. Level of evidence II. Therapeutic studies investigating results of the treatment. Retrospective study.</p> Results <p>When evaluated according to Green and O'Brien, the results were rated as excellent in 6 patients (35%), good in 8 patients (47%), satisfactory in 3 patients (18%) and we did not observe a poor result. When DASH was determined after 15&#xa0;years, the result was 19.6. When we evaluated the radiographic findings, we did not observe any evidence of arthritic changes after 15&#xa0;years.</p> Conclusion <p>The results after 15&#xa0;years show that this method has its place in the treatment of chronic isolated lunotriquetral ligament injuries.</p>
