<p><i>Achillea millefolium</i> L. belongs to the Asteraceae family, the most important angiospermic family in the world. It is native to temperate zones of the northern hemisphere. This plant shows a most significant medicinal plant with substantial therapeutic benefits. The plant has been reported to exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-diabetic, and antifungal properties. This study provides the morphological and anatomical features of <i>A. millefolium</i> L., focuses on various parts of the plant, such as root, rhizome, stem, leaves, and petiole, and includes microscopic powdered investigations. Morphological identification features observed include feathery leaves and unique inflorescences. Microscopic studies revealed the anatomical structures of roots, rhizomes, stems, and leaves, with the various cell types, vascular variations, and secretory ducts. Three types of trichomes observed in the plant parts include uniseriate, multicellular, conical, non-glandular trichomes, non-glandular trichomes with elongated apical cells and glandular trichomes with globose heads. Leaf showed anomocytic stomatal type; stomatal index was 7.38 on the abaxial and 8.78 on the adaxial side. Similarly, powdered studies show unique characteristics such as glandular trichomes, epidermal cells, stomata and tracheary elements. This study provides the key role of taxonomical and anatomical characteristics for the identification and standardization of <i>A. millefolium</i> L. It is essential to ensure the efficacy, safety, and quality of herbal-based medicine from this plant, thereby effectively distinguishing <i>A. millefolium</i> L. from possible adulterants and substitutes. This study will be helpful for the herbal formulation of <i>A. millefolium</i> L. and ensure its standardization for the pharmaceutical industry.</p>
