<p>We report <i>Corydalis cashmeriana</i> var. <i>longicalcarata</i> (Papaveraceae) for the first time from Kashmir, a region located in Western Himalaya, India. It differs from <i>C</i>. <i>cashmeriana</i> var. <i>cashmeriana</i> in having raceme with only two flowers, long upper petal and spur with deflexed tip. Detailed morphological notes along with photographs are provided to validate this new distribution record and facilitate the field identification of this taxon.</p>
