Farmers’ suicide and stress resilience in agriculture through microbial interactions: a perspective analysis

At present agriculture has a great impact on the livelihood of farmers and the world. Due to crop failure, decreased yield, and high debts suicide cases have taken a large place which is a great threat to humanity. Therefore, much attention is needed to improve the agricultural status of the country and to lessen the farmer’s suicide. Switching to the use of PGP microbes and GM crops helps in improving the yield of the plant as well as in improving the land condition which may directly or indirectly help in the improvement of the farmer’s condition. Endophytes and rhizospheric microbes are the microbes that dwell in the host and near the root surface and help in plant growth by secreting various compounds. They also provide tolerance to plants against different stress. They may also act as bio-controlling agents. The present review focuses on the state, of farmer suicide cases in agriculture This analysis examines how microbial interactions can bolster stress resilience in agriculture, potentially mitigating farmers' suicides. It explores the vital role of microbes in enhancing soil biota and crop productivity, thereby fostering a more sustainable and less stressful farming environment that supports farmers' mental well-being.
