Physico-chemical and acoustical analysis of potassium metabisulphite (PMA) salts behavior in an aqueous medium
摘要
The measured parameters such as density (ρ), viscosity (η), and ultrasonic velocity (U) are used to assess the liquid and liquid mixes based on the molecular interactions and their types. For an aqueous solution of potassium metabisulphite (PMS) at various concentrations and temperature ranges, the derived parameters parameters are necessary to see the insight behavior and derived from the measured parameters such as relaxation time, amplitude and etc., The solute’s capacity to create or shatter structures in aqueous solvents has also been studied. To subjectively assess the results, a notable statistical approach known as the analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique was used. Food’s natural colour is preserved by PMS, a food preservative. Bleaching agents eliminate chloramines from tap water and provide bacterial protection in beverages like wine, juice, and beer. Water is essential to life and it gives a major impact on the ecosystem. Thus, studying the physico-chemical behaviour of PMS salts in water becomes very important. Additionally, the comparative value of salt was examined using data gathered from all criteria.
