摘要

For the first time, an extremely rapid and sensitive simple spectrofluorometric method was developed based on measuring the native fluorescence of dutasteride (DUT) in acetonitrile. Following its excitation at 245 nm, the intensity of the fluorescence was measured at 325 nm. The linearity lies in the range of 20.0–600.0 ng mL−1. The developed method was optimized and validated in compliance with ICH guidelines. This abstract follows reviewer recommendations. For the first time, an extremely rapid, eco-friendly, cost-effective, accurate, sensitive, and simple spectrofluorometric method was developed based on measuring the native fluorescence of dutasteride (DUT) used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in acetonitrile (ACN) as the diluting solvent. In addition, we used some of the greenness assessment and environmental safety methods, such as AGREE and Analytical Eco Scale, to prove its ecological capability in terms of solvent, chemical, energy consumption, and waste generation.
