Synthesis of magnetically separable mixed metal oxide nanocomposite (Cu/CoFe2O4) for Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition
摘要
A magnetically recoverable mixed metal oxide nanocomposite (Cu/CoFe2O4) was synthesized and employed for the Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction. Functionally diverse 1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles synthesized from aryl halide, sodium azide and terminal alkyne in ethanol. The physico-chemical study of the catalyst was characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, EDS, TGA, XPS and VSM. Use of sustainable catalytic system, simple procedure, mild reaction conditions, easy work-up, short reaction times, high product yields and use of a benign solvent are remarkable features of the present protocol. The catalyst nontoxic nature and easy recovery and reusability over several reaction cycles makes this protocol more competent.
