摘要

This research examines consumers’ attitudes and purchase intentions toward art-infused products designed by artificial intelligence (AI). Across three studies, we demonstrate that consumers perceive AI-designed art-infused products less favorably and exhibit lower purchase intentions compared to those labeled as human-designed. This effect arises because consumers expect AI designers to have lower emotional involvement in the creative process. By highlighting the unintended consequences of AI-designed art-infused products, our research contributes to the literature on artificial intelligence and art-infused product design.
