Unveiling an uncommon trajectory colorectal carcinoma with buccal mucosal metastasis a case report
摘要
Background
Oral metastases from malignancies are incredibly uncommon. They mostly afflict people in their 50s to 70s. The two most frequently implicated sites in metastatic deposits are the mandible and the gingiva. Men’s primary metastases originate from the organs of liver, kidneys, prostate, and lungs, whereas women’s primary metastases originate from the organs of breast, genital organs, kidneys, and colorectum.
Case presentationWe present you with a unique case involving a 42-year-old Indian female patient with a rare metastatic deposit presenting in an unusual manner.
ConclusionsSynchronous colorectal carcinoma can be aggressive, leading to metastasis with an unusual presentation. The regular follow-up after adjuvant therapy is mandatory to improve the quality of life.
