摘要

High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) fall within the scope of cervical precancerous lesions.Cervical conization is currently the most commonly used method for the treatment of HSIL. However, patients still have a long-term risk of residual or recurrent lesions and progression to invasive cancer after conization, so it is necessary to precisely manage patients after cervical conization. The accuracy, specificity and referral to colposcopy of HPV and TCT still have certain limitations. DNA methylation is a well-known epigenetic change which is highly associated with tumors, and DNA methylation is considered to be index for tumor adjuvant diagnosis. So it is believed that detection of the level of specific DNA methylation sites can be used for early diagnosis, treatment evaluation, prognosis prediction of tumors. DNA methylation testing has been widely used in the screening and triage management of cervical lesions. Here, we will further explore the prospects. DNA methylation testing in monitoring residual lesions and recurrence risk after HSIL conization.
