摘要

Eosinophilic solid and cystic renal cell carcinoma (ESC-RCC) represents a novel subtype of renal cell carcinoma that is increasingly recognized for its unique morphological features, immunological profile, and genetic alterations. It also frequently exhibits indolent biological behavior. Initially, it was only reported in female patients with tuberous sclerosis. Here we report a rare case of ESC-RCC in a young man with typical pathological features of mixed solid and cystic growth structures with eosinophilic cytoplasm and characteristic immunohistochemical markers (KRT20 positive/KRT7 negative). The MRI imaging features are solid cystic mass with hemorrhage, the cystic lesions were mainly located around the periphery of the tumor and has uneven enhancement. The patient was in good condition with no signs of recurrence or metastasis thirteen months after the kidney tumor was resection.
