摘要

Angioedema is attributed to various factors including allergic reactions, genetics, immune responses, and several medications. However, its association with statins is rare, with limited research available. We present a case of angioedema suspected to be induced by fluvastatin in a 57 year-old male. Tranexamic acid effectively reduced the tongue edema, highlighting the importance of recognizing statin-induced angioedema and its treatment with tranexamic acid.
