Fibromyalgie – eine Herausforderung für Betroffene und die Medizin
摘要
For more than 20 years, experts have tried to identify criteria to correctly and uniformly diagnose fibromyalgia all over the world. The 2016 published criteria focus not only on pain but also on the various symptoms associated with fibromyalgia. Effects of pharmacological treatment are still small. Amitriptyline, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), gabapentin and pregabalin are recommended according to comorbidities. Nonpharmacologic interventions are strongly recommended, especially endurance training, QiGong, TaiChi, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Detailed education, an individualized therapy program and an understanding social environment often improve quality of life, but time and patience are needed.
