Einfluss der Abutmentfarbe auf die ästhetische Wahrnehmung implantatgetragener Kronen
摘要
Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate the influence of abutment color on the aesthetic perception of implant-supported crowns.
Materials and Methods: Three different abutments (titanium-colored, gold-colored anodized, and pink anodized) were combined with an identical crown and photographed under standardized conditions. The resulting images were evaluated by 100 participants (50 dentists, 50 laypersons) with regard to aesthetics using a scale from 1 to 10, and their preferred situation was also recorded. Statistical analysis was performed using paired t-tests (p < 0.05).
Results: Aesthetic ratings differed significantly among the three image situations. The gold-colored abutment received the highest ratings (7.48 ± 1.66), followed by the pink anodized abutment (5.39 ± 1.34) and the titanium-colored abutment (3.44 ± 1.59). All pairwise comparisons were statistically significant (p < 0.05). In the preference analysis, 76% of participants selected the gold-colored abutment as the most aesthetically pleasing solution. This pattern was consistent among dentists and laypersons.
Conclusion: Abutment color has a significant impact on the aesthetic perception of implant-supported crowns. Gold-colored anodized abutments provide the best aesthetic outcomes and are preferred regardless of the observer's professional background.
