<p>With the global older population projected to surge by 110% by 2050, the financial sustainability of quality care systems has become a pressing societal challenge. This bibliometric analysis of 2972 Scopus Elsevier-indexed publications (1970–2025) uncovers critical trends and gaps in research exploring how financial constraints shape care quality for older adults. While high-income nations like the U.S. and U.K. dominate scholarly output—low-resource regions remain underrepresented, reflecting global inequities in aging-related research. Keyword analysis reveals “financial management” as a significant theme, intricately tied to “quality of life” cluster, yet the field remains disproportionately anchored in medical research with limited integration of financial perspectives. Our findings advocate for urgent interdisciplinary collaboration to bridge silos between healthcare and financial aspects ensuring equitable, cost-effective care models that prioritize dignity and accessibility. This study equips policymakers and practitioners with actionable insights to realign funding priorities, innovate sustainable solutions, and amplify marginalized voices in shaping the future of older people care.</p>
