Abschätzung des Progressionsrisikos zum Nierenversagen
摘要
Due to the high prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD), risk-adapted management is essential. The Kidney Failure Risk Equation (KFRE), which takes into account sex, age, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and urine albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR), provides a reliable individual assessment of the risk of kidney failure over 2 and 5 years for patients with an eGFR ≤ 60 ml/min/1,73 m². KFRE has been validated in many independent cohorts, including in Germany. The website www.risiko-nierenversagen.de now offers a German-language shared decision-making aid based on an individually estimated risk of CKD progression.
