A Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithm-Based Approach for Laying Out Age-Friendly Rural Renovations in Jilin Province
摘要
The rural age-friendly rural renovation project in Jilin Province, aimed at providing a senior-friendly environment, is faced with a series of challenges, which include scattered geographical arrangement, uneven resource allocation, and varied needs of the seniors. To address these challenges and improve the living environment for senior residents, a combination of Geographic Information Systems and Building Information Modeling technologies is proposed with the use of solution algorithms for optimization. The approach aims at devising an optimal arrangement for age-friendly rural renovation, which aims for better accessibility, comfort, and convenience in access to public services by seniors. Through the use of Geographic Information Systems spatial analysis tools and Building Information Modeling for remote rendering, a common working space is created where age-friendly rural renovation optimization is visualized and carried out. Through field work and data gathering, renewal objectives were established, which include accessibility of road network infrastructure, residential comfort, accessibility of public service infrastructure, and travel convenience for seniors. Using a solution-requiring optimization technique, an arrangement for age-friendly rural renovation is proposed with a 50% reduced travel cost for seniors, an enhanced level of residential comfort, and 100% accessibility level for medical facilities. This strategy is entirely beneficial and provides a significant improvement over previous approaches with the aid of decision-making technologies, leading towards a convenient and comfortable living space for the senior population, with a potential influence on senior age-friendly rural renovation projects.
