<p>The rapid development of generative AI has brought significant changes to the field of education. This study examines the impact of a project using generative AI in a class on the use of productivity software at university and university students’ attitudes towards AI. This study used a pre-post survey design to measure changes in students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral attitudes toward AI. The results indicate a significant positive shift in students’ perspectives. This study provides empirical evidence that it is important to expand hands-on training and create an environment where students can experience and use AI when designing AI curricula for university curricula.</p>
