<p>The land management in smart cities, based on platform capitalism, includes an integrated system for land data management, public consultations, and information dissemination on land. A mobile-based urban and rural land management strategy employs a Software as a Service (SaaS) framework to address land-related issues in urban areas. This research presents a project in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat, India. This project presents a novel concept for mobile-based land management in partnership with local government and citizens. Smartphones incorporate smart technologies via Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). The system employs a “routing mechanism” to disseminate information to citizens and administrators inside a geo-fencing context. The objective of the system architecture is to incorporate a democratic administrative structure to adjudicate land disputes. Moreover, the mobile base model offers several participatory approaches for smart cities. Research examines inquiries such as what defines land management within the urban planning process. In what ways might smart city technologies enhance the efficiency of land management in the urban planning process? What constitutes platform capitalism? What strategies might we employ to create innovative versions of platform capitalism? Moreover, the study demonstrates a novel methodology for addressing urban challenges with smart technology.</p>
