<p>The objective of this paper is to show a modified Gerstner-type solution for geophysical internal waves under the <i>f</i>-plane approximation with centripetal forces and arbitrary latitude. We further prove the instability criteria for such internal water waves through the short-wavelength perturbation method.</p>

摘要

The objective of this paper is to show a modified Gerstner-type solution for geophysical internal waves under the f-plane approximation with centripetal forces and arbitrary latitude. We further prove the instability criteria for such internal water waves through the short-wavelength perturbation method.
