Objective <p>Examine the progression of scholarly publications pertaining to the psychological training of international pilots, delineate the principal research institutions and their collaborative networks within this domain, elucidate the developmental trajectory and interrelationships of key research themes, and subsequently suggest prospective avenues for future investigation.</p> Methods <p>This study analyzes papers from the Web of Science database using software tools such as CiteSpace for data organization, visual display, and analysis. It explores the interrelationships and developmental trajectories of the literature, identifying research hotspots and disciplinary intersections.</p> Results <p>The field of international pilot psychological training has experienced a change in publication volume, progressing from steady development to fluctuating growth and then to rapid growth, corresponding to three stages: the accumulation and sprouting stage, the fluctuating development stage, and the surge and outbreak stage. Research hotspots have also constantly evolved. The literature shows a relatively close citation relationship, displaying interdisciplinary integration and fusion characteristics.</p> Conclusion <p>This study reveals the current state and development trends in psychological training for international pilots. It could further strengthen the exploration of emerging research themes, promote academic exchange and cooperation within the field, and advance its development.</p>
