<p>In this article, the severe consequences of a primary tooth trauma are described and the extensive effort that may be required to provide adequate therapeutic support to an affected patient is highlighted. Primary anterior tooth intrusion in the upper jaw resulted in severe damage to the permanent successor tooth. The upper central front tooth, which was affected by root dilaceration, had to be surgically removed. The resulting front tooth gap was temporarily filled with a transplanted deciduous tooth. The main objectives were to preserve as much bone as possible in the alveolar process and to provide a long-term aesthetic and functional temporary restoration. This unconventional solution was chosen due to the special circumstances of the patient's tooth positioning.</p>
