Behandlungsmöglichkeiten für traumabedingte unkomplizierte Kronenfrakturen bleibender Zähne
摘要
In general, crown fractures are among the most common dental injuries of permanent teeth in children and adolescents. These mainly affect the upper anterior teeth and are caused by falls or sport activities. Adequate treatment of crown fractures involving enamel and dentin, such as reattaching a tooth fragment or direct composite resin restoration, can restore function and aesthetics. Thus, an overview of treatment options for enamel and dentin fractures without pulp involvement, so-called uncomplicated crown fractures, based on three clinical cases, is presented. The cases show different fracture depths, from pure enamel fractures to deep enamel–dentin fractures and illustrate indicated treatment strategies in accordance with current guideline recommendations.
