Pulpektomie − Wurzelbehandlungen bei Milchzähnen
摘要
Endodontics in primary teeth involves special treatment measures to preserve pulp-damaged primary teeth until natural exfoliation, in order to ensure chewing function, phone-tics, esthetics, and normal dental development. The treatment decision is based on the condition of the pulp as well as clinical, radiological and child-related criteria. While pulpotomy involves removing only the coronal pulp and preserving the vital root pulp, pulpectomy involves removing the entire pulp tissue and filling the canals with resorbable material. Indications and contraindications determine the treatment procedure. In particular, the strategic importance in the dental arch, for example, in the second deciduous molars before the eruption of permanent tooth 6, has a significant influence on the choice of therapy.
