S3-Leitlinie „Seltene Erkrankungen der Zähne“
摘要
Rare genetic dental disorders comprise over 400 distinct entities, most of which have well-characterized molecular genetic causes. The recently published S3 guideline of the AWMF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Wissenschaftlichen Medizinischen Fachgesellschaften e. V.) with the registry number 083-048 provides the first evidence- and consensus-based recommendations for the structured diagnosis and management. In addition to clinical and radiographic assessment, the guideline emphasizes the role of genetic testing for genotype identification and for evaluating potential systemic involvement. Therapeutically, it highlights the importance of interdisciplinary care tailored to the patient's age and dental development. With a total of 41 recommendations, the guideline establishes a robust framework for quality-assured dental care and aims to sustainably improve oral health and quality of life in this patient population.
