Toward a global standard for robotic thoracic surgery training
摘要
Robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) is a rapidly growing field, requiring innovation and standardization in the RATS educational curriculums. Recent studies have characterized and initiated design of such curriculums, setting the stage for ongoing improvements in RATS education. The future of RATS education is broad and will merit consideration of educational access, multi-platform skills, and integration of new technologies to care for the growing patient population who may benefit from RATS.
