Somatische Belastungsstörung und chronischer Schmerz – ein biopsychosoziales Verständnis
摘要
Chronic pain is among the leading causes of reduced quality of life and work disability worldwide. With the introduction of bodily distress disorder (BDD), the ICD-11 has established a new diagnostic concept that shifts the focus away from the presence or absence of a medical explanation for symptoms and instead emphasizes subjective distress, excessive symptom-related attention, and functional impairment. This approach is consistent with the biopsychosocial model, which conceptualizes chronic pain as the result of complex interactions among biological, psychological, and social factors. Central sensitization, psychiatric comorbidities, and maladaptive coping strategies play a significant role in the development and maintenance of chronic pain. Consequently, interdisciplinary and multimodal treatment approaches are recommended for both diagnosis and management.
