<p>Awareness of sustainable practices is more in focus than ever - starting from the management down to the nursing staff. This is because a large amount of medical waste is generated in intensive care units, which is usually disposed of a spezial waste. Against all odds, this work aimed not only at waste minimization but above all at establishing a practical waste separation system to reduce the ecological footprint.</p>
